NZ’s Will O’Rourke ruled out of 2nd Test vs Zimbabwe

New Zealand have suffered another injury setback as their promising fast bowler Will O’Rourke has been ruled out of the second and final Test against Zimbabwe with a back injury suffered during the first test. Ben Lister has been called in as the replacement for O’Rourke. Will, who experienced back stiffness on day three of the first test in Bulawayo, has been sent to New Zealand and will undergo medical assessment there.
He delivered a stellar performance in the first Test, claiming 3/28 in the second innings to help steer New Zealand to a commanding nine‑wicket victory. With the win, they went 1-0 up in the two-match series. The second Test is scheduled to begin on August 7 in Bulawayo.
