South Africa have suffered a setback in their ongoing ODI series against England, with batter Tony de Zorzi ruled out of the remaining two matches due to a hamstring injury. He suffered the injury during the first ODI while trying to stop the ball from reaching the boundary. He, however, successfully managed to stop the ball but hurt his left hamstring during the chase, prompting him to leave the field.

Later it was confirmed that he would not return to the field and come to bat if needed. Though he was not required to bat, with Aiden Markram taking the side to a seven-wicket win with a commanding 86-run knock.

Meanwhile, Matthew Breetzke, who was battling a hamstring injury and did not play the first ODI, is available for selection. South Africa and England will face each other in the second ODI on Thursday at Lord's. Currently, South Africa are leading the three-match series 1-0.
