About Diana Baig

Not many women sportsmen are talented in multiple sports like Diana Baig. She had an obvious talent, right from her childhood days playing street cricket and football in Pakistan. In fact, it was in the latter that she got picked first, for the National team but that happened due to a freak situation when the side faced a dearth of players in the squad. Diana voluntered and got to play but she was always destined for cricket. A medium pacer, her accuracy and ability to swing/seam the ball is appreciable. She is also a fantastic fielder, blessed with a rocket arm as well. Having made her international debut in 2015, it's still early days for Diana but she has shown the promise to be a superstar in Pakistan cricket.
