IPL Auction 2024: Franchises eye promising talent

The cricketing world is abuzz with anticipation as the Indian Premier League (IPL) gears up for its much-awaited auction scheduled to take place on December 19, 2023, in the vibrant city of Dubai. All the ten franchises must have chalked out their strategies to rope in solid players to make their squad incredibly formidable. 333 players would be undergoing the gavel for their fate to be decided by the franchises. Cricket lovers would too remain glued to their televisions to see their favourite players being bought. Like always, this time too, IPL auction would play a pivotal role in shaping the dynamics of the upcoming IPL season. Cricketing franchises prepare their war chests and strategies are being crafted to secure the best talent and build formidable squads. The auction floor is expected to witness intense bidding wars for marquee players, as always, both established stars and emerging talents. All eyes will be on the emerging stars. Franchises will have an upheaval task to get a balanced combination of experienced players and promising youngsters. IPL auction will get underway at 1:00 PM (IST).
