SA vs IND 2nd Test Day 2: India eye early wickets against tumbling South Africa

The world of cricket witnessed an incredibly competitive battle between India and South Africa in the 2nd Test on day one at Newlands, Cape Town on Wednesday. The match, marked by highly dramatic moments saw the fall of 23 wickets from both innings on day 1. In an unexpected turn of events, South Africa found themselves in a precarious situation, being bowled out for a mere 55 runs in their first innings. The Indian bowlers exhibited exceptional skill and precision, exploiting the pitch conditions in Cape Town. The Proteas' top-order crumbled against India’s relentless pace and swing.
India, however, faced the same amount of challenge from South African bowlers.The South African bowlers, remaining consistent in their spell, managed to bundle out the Indian batting lineup for 153 runs in their first innings. The lower order fell like a pack of cards. Team India’s position in their innings was looking solid after being on 154-4, but unexpectedly they lost their six wickets for zero, leaving them reeling for 154.
South Africa, starting their seconds innings on day one, lost their three wickets in quick succession to end the day for 63/3 with Aiden Markram and David Bedingham unbeaten on (36) and (7) respectively. Earlier, South Africa had decided to bat after winning the toss. Currently, South Africa are trailing by 36 runs. On day two, (Thursday), both teams would hope to make big gains.
