In the ongoing three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, both teams are gearing up to face each other in the second ODI match on Friday at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. This encounter promises to be a riveting battle after Bangladesh took 1-0 lead in the series. 

Bangladesh currently hold the upper hand in the series, having secured a convincing victory in the first ODI. Their six-wicket win in the first game showcased team's skill, determination and their dominance in the 50-over format as they chased down the 256-run target in 44.4 overs. Their triumph in the first game will undoubtedly boost Bangladesh's confidence and set the stage for an exciting showdown in the upcoming match.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka find themselves in a challenging situation after their defeat in the opening game. However, Sri Lanka would hope to bounce back to level the series 1-1. Sri Lanka will be eager to turn the tide and level the series with a strong performance in the second ODI. 

Sri Lanka would expect their bowlers to come out with raging spells after their profligacy in the first game. Their batters, meanwhile, performed well to lead the team to a competitive total.
