IPL 2024: CSK, SRH eye return to winning ways

Chennai Super Kings are gearing up to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 46th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Sunday at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Both teams will take the field on the back of defeats in their last outings, eager to bounce back with a victory.
CSK were stunned by LSG in the previous encounter, registering their fourth defeat of the league. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad made an amazing (108) unbeaten, taking the team to (210), but Marcus Stoinis single-handedly took LSG over the line with his stunning 124-run knock unbeaten. CSK would want to get back into the league with a win and hope to rectify the shortcomings. Their pace bowling has been under scanner, meanwhile they would look to bank on their spin attack to keep themselves on top.
On the other hand, SRH, have had an interesting ride in this season of the IPL. Travis head and Abhishek Sharma have kept the team brimmed with runs with powerful batting performances. SRH found it challenging to outplay RCB in their last game, nonetheless they remain a formidable team in the tournament.
