LSG Pulverise GT, snap their four-match winning streak

Lucknow Super Giants delivered a commanding performance on Saturday in Lucknow, crushing Gujarat Titans by six wickets and putting an end to their four-match winning streak in emphatic style.
After being asked to bat, Titans looked in good shape early on, thanks to solid knocks from their openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, who continued with their rich form, hitting classy knocks of 60 and 56 respectively. Their 120-run stand set the platform for a big total. However, their middle order faltered under pressure, struggling to convert the start into a dominant score. A late push came from Sherfane Rutherford, whose quickfire 22 helped GT post a competitive 180/6 in their 20 overs.
Meanwhile, LSG responded in explosive fashion. Aiden Markram took the attack to the bowlers from ball one, notching a confident 58, while Rishabh Pant added a handy 21 at the other end. But it was Nicholas Pooran who truly stole the show. Coming in with the chase in balance, Pooran unleashed a barrage of boundaries in a blistering innings of 61 off 34. Down the order, Ayush Badoni fired 28 unbeaten to guide LSG to victory with ease.
