SRH bring in Ravichandran Smaran as replacement for injured Zampa

Sunrisers Hyderabad have brought in Ravichandran Smaran as the replacement for the injured Adam Zampa for the remainder of the tournament, a release from the IPL stated. Zampa has been ruled out of the tournament.
“The left-handed batter, who plays for Karnataka in Domestic Cricket, joins SRH for INR 30 Lakh,” the release stated.
He has played seven first-class games, amassing more than 500 runs at an average of 64.50. He also has a double century against Punjab. Smaran has featured in 10 List A games, cracking 433 runs at an average of 72.16, including two centuries. In his T20 career, he has scored 170 runs in six games. Meanwhile, SRH are currently struggling at the 9th spot in the points table with two wins from six games. Zampa featured in SRH's first two matches in the form of the Impact Sub, returning with the figures of 1 for 48 and 1 for 46.
