Harshit Rana added to India's squad ahead of 1st Test against England

Indian pacer Harshit Rana has received a call-up to India’s Test squad for the first Test against England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced in a release late on Tuesday. The first Test between India and England will start on June 20 in Headingley.
“The Men’s Selection Committee has added Harshit Rana to India’s squad for the first Test in Leeds against England. Rana, who was a part of the India A squad, has linked up with the team as India begin preparations for the first Test,” the BCCI statement read.
Harshit, who made his Test debut on India’s tour of Australia in November 2024, returned with four wickets in his first Test in Perth. So far, he has represented India in two Tests, five ODIs and one T20I.
