South Africa registered a convincing 8-wicket win over India in the second ODI match of the three-match series on Tuesday to level the series 1-1. Earlier, put into bat, India were bowled out for (211) where KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan scored (56) and (62) respectively to take the team to a modest total. For South Africa, Nandre Burger had remained quite economical with his three wickets while Keshav Maharaj and Beuran Hendricks claimed two wickets each. With this win, South Africa have successfully levelled the series 1-1. South Africa approached the run chase with confidence. Openers de Zorzi and Reeza Hendricks laid a solid foundation, showcasing a blend of composure and sensible shot selection. Their partnership alleviated any early jitters, setting the stage for a smooth chase, however they had struggled at the start but got themselves into the groove.
