The third T20I match between Pakistan and England was abandoned without a ball being bowled on Tuesday at Sophia Gardens. It came as a huge disappointment for players, robbing them of action Ahead of the T20I World Cup 2024. The persistent rain didn’t let the proceedings get underway, forcing the umpires to call off the match.

The four-match series has been a challenging one for both teams, with the weather playing a spoilsport. The first T20I also fell victim to rain and was abandoned without toss. The second game saw complete action where England managed to secure a victory to lead the four-match series 1-0. England edged out Pakistan to record a 23-run win in the second match.

With two out of the first three T20Is abandoned, the series has been significantly affected, leaving not much of an opportunity for both teams to prepare for the World Cup. England's 1-0 lead puts additional pressure on Pakistan to win the final match if they are to level the series. The fourth T20I, to be held on Thursday, now holds greater importance,
