In the 6th match of the ongoing Women's Big Bash League, Brisbane Heat will face Perth Scorchers Women on Wednesday at Allan Border Field in Brisbane. In a massive development for Heat, their star all-rounder Grace Harris is set to return to the outfit after being cleared to play following a calf injury that put her out of the Women's ODI World Cup recently.
Harris missed Heat's opening game against Melbourne Renegades that they lost by 7 wickets, kicking off their campaign on a negative note. However, Harris' return will be a welcome impetus at the top of the order. Meanwhile, Heat will hunt for their first win of the tournament as they get ready to take on Perth Scorchers.
Perth Scorchers, on the other hand, fell to a 10-wicket defeat against Sydney Sixers in their opening match of the tournament, being demolished in all departments. Deciding to bat, they only managed 109 before being bowled out in 19.3 overs. Going into the match against Heat, they will be hoping for an improved performance to claim their first victory of the season.
